GoAdServer now supports direct postbacks to Meta (Facebook Ads).
This means you can send conversions from your campaigns back to Meta, allowing better attribution and automatic optimization of your ads.
By setting up Meta postbacks in GoAdServer, you close the loop between traffic, conversions, and campaign optimization.
This allows you to run smarter, data-driven campaigns on Facebook/Instagram, maximizing ROI.
How the Flow Works in GoAdServer with Meta Ads
User clicks an ad on Meta (FB/IG).
Meta automatically adds the parameter fbclid=XXXXX to every outbound URL.
That fbclid is a unique click identifier.
Traffic lands in GoAdServer.
GAS captures the fbclid from the URL.
It saves this value in the publisher’s stats as ClickID.
Visitor is redirected to the advertiser.
GAS forwards the user to the advertiser’s landing page.
If the advertiser has implemented the conversion callback to GAS, then when a conversion happens → GAS receives the event.
Conversion is logged in GoAdServer.
GAS records the conversion.
If the campaign is CPA/CPL/CPI, GAS also calculates the publisher’s earnings.
Optional: Postback to Publisher.
Just like before, if the publisher configured their own endpoint, GAS can send them the conversion details.
New: Postback directly to Meta Ads.
If the publisher sets up a postback of type “Meta” in GAS, they need to provide:
- Pixel ID
- Access Token
- GAS will then call Meta’s API with:
- pixel_id=XXXX
- access_token=YYYY
- event_name=Purchase (or relevant event)
- event_id=fbclid (captured click ID)
Meta receives the conversion event, attributes it back to the correct campaign, and uses it for optimization & reporting.
